Principal's Message

It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to our wonderful school Blakestown Community School. For over 40 years, our school has been at the heart of our community providing education, care and support to countless families. Our vision is to provide high quality teaching and learning and student wellbeing within a school that is constantly evolving and improving. 

Our teachers are all highly qualified and experienced professionals who contribute to the development of our students far beyond the confines of the classroom. We regularly welcome back past students who always comment on how grateful they are for the support that they received from our teachers during their time in the school.

In addition, our commitment to the Parents/Guardians of our students is without reservation. We have a long tradition of supporting Parents/Guardians and we warmly welcome them as often as possible into our school. 

We have invested heavily in digital technology in our classrooms. Students are provided with an enhanced digital experience as we provide the devices without families having to foot expensive bills. No child should feel disadvantaged in our education system and this is something I will never accept in Blakestown Community School. I give you my commitment that I will continue to provide the best possible educational experience to our students.
