BOARD OF MANAGEMENT REQUIREMENTS FOR THE HIRE OF SCHOOL FACILITIES
Each organisation/group/club must produce the following before hiring school facilities.
Produce their Public Liability Insurance stating that the respective organisation/group/club indemnifies:
•The Minister for Education & Skills
•The Department of Education & Skills
•The Board of Management, Principal & Staff of Blakestown Community School
•Le Cheile Schools Trust and Dublin and Dún Laoghaire Education and Training Board
•Against any accident(s) which might occur while on school premise.
Also, each club/organisation must present a copy of their Child Safeguarding Statement for retention by the school.
Also, each organisation must pay in advance into the school office, during office times, the agreed amount for the hiring of school facilities.
Regretfully, we cannot permit the use of facilities unless these requirements are adhered to.
